Privacy Policy

1.1 Information you provide. The platform records the information you submit in the course of creating or enquiring about a listing, including particulars of the property, its address and unit number, its size, its price and its condition, together with any further information you elect to provide.

1.2 Voice input. Where you use the microphone, the recording is transmitted to a speech-to-text service and converted to text. Only the resulting text is retained. The audio recording is not retained.

1.3 Contact particulars. The name, telephone number, messaging number and email address of the person to be contacted in respect of a listing and, where the lister is a salesperson, their CEA registration number and agency. In the case of a prospective buyer or tenant, an email address, which is the address to which any response is sent.

1.4 Enquiries. The substance of your enquiry, any viewing request, and the listing to which it relates.

1.5 Technical data. Records generated in the ordinary course of serving a web page, used for the operation and security of the platform.

2.1 Personal data is collected, used and disclosed for the following purposes: creating and publishing listings; enabling prospective buyers and tenants to search listings and obtain information concerning a property from what its lister has stated; transmitting enquiries and viewing requests to the appropriate party; verifying a salesperson against the public CEA register; reviewing listings prior to publication; and operating, securing and improving the platform.

2.2 Personal data is not sold, and is not disclosed to advertisers.

3.1 A listing that has been approved is published on the platform. Contact particulars are not published as part of a listing.

3.2 Enquiries and viewing requests are transmitted to Cashout and passed to the appropriate party. Where a question submitted by a prospective buyer or tenant is not answered by the listing, the question may be referred to the lister, and the response returned to the person who asked. That response is thereafter retained on the listing and may be shown to subsequent enquirers.

4.1 Cashout engages service providers who process personal data on its behalf and on its instructions. As at the date of this Policy those providers are Railway (hosting), Supabase (database and file storage), Anthropic (automated interviewing and response generation), Deepgram (speech-to-text conversion) and Resend (electronic mail delivery).

4.2 Personal data may also be disclosed where required by law, by an order of a court or a competent authority, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

5.1 Certain of the service providers identified at clause 4.1 process personal data outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred out of Singapore, Cashout takes reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient is bound to provide a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.

6.1 The platform stores two items in your browser: a reference to an incomplete listing, so that an interview in progress is not lost on refresh or navigation; and your selected text size. Neither is used for tracking.

6.2 The platform does not employ advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

7.1 A listing and the interview from which it was created are retained while the listing is published and for a reasonable period thereafter, enquiries concerning a withdrawn listing remaining possible during that period. Enquiries are retained while they are being actioned and thereafter for record-keeping purposes. An incomplete interview which is not confirmed is cleared in the ordinary course.

7.2 Personal data is not retained where the purpose for which it was collected is no longer served by retention and retention is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.

8.1 You may request access to the personal data held about you and information as to the ways in which it has been used or disclosed in the preceding year; request correction of any personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete; request the removal of a listing; and withdraw consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal data.

8.2 Withdrawal of consent will prevent the continued publication of your listing and the transmission of enquiries concerning it. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal, nor any retention required by law.

8.3 Requests under this clause should be addressed to cashoutsg@gmail.com and should contain sufficient particulars to enable the listing or record to be identified, such as the reference number issued when the listing was saved. A response will be provided within a reasonable period.

9.1 Cashout makes reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data in its possession or under its control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. Access is limited to those persons requiring it for the operation of the platform.

9.2 Cashout makes reasonable efforts to ensure that personal data collected is accurate and complete where it is likely to be used to make a decision affecting you, or is likely to be disclosed to another organisation.

10.1 This Policy may be amended from time to time. The date stated above indicates when it was last amended.
